Finding Beauty After the Storm

After a recent storm, I ventured along the water's edge in search of sea glass. Stormy waves often stir up treasures and wash them ashore. As I bent down to sift through the rocks, I stumbled upon several delicate butterflies that had sadly passed. I couldn't bear to leave them to be swallowed by the waves, so I decided to bring them home and dry them out. I felt a strong desire to honor these beautiful creatures by preserving them, although I wasn't quite sure how to do it yet. While watching television, inspiration struck— it was time to take action! With a drum roll of excitement, I carefully used a few of the butterflies in my project, leaving me with some still to work with. My plan is to showcase them at a market where I’ll be vending next week. I was pleasantly surprised by how stunning the butterflies looked paired with crystals.
